Auxiliary Association Direct Grants to Auxiliary Units
The Auxiliary National Board has allowed AuxA to manage all fiscal matters and fundraising efforts to support Auxiliary activities not funded by the Coast Guard. The AuxA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation under the laws of the District of Columbia. As an organization, it receives no federal government appropriation funds. The Association’s resources are augmented through revenues, grants, gifts, and donations received from outside sources, both public and private.
We distribute funds held by the Association as directed by the National Board to support Auxiliary unit missions. The Coast Guard Auxiliary Association, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation under the laws of the District of Columbia. As an organization, it receives no federal government appropriation funds. To do this, the National Board has established the Direct Grants program.
After notification of the Chain of Leadership and Management, through Division Commanders to the District Commodore, unit leaders may authorize an appropriate unit point of contact to use the below form to submit requests via this online application form.
Monthly, the Association’s Development team will collate requests and forward to the Auxiliary National Executive Committee for review and approval. Applicants will be notified of approval status with 30 days of submission.

Member Training – AuxA seeks to fund initiatives that support, improve, or enable member training activities at the flotilla a division level.
Recruitment Activities – AuxA seeks to support units as they work to recruit new members to the Auxiliary.
